Jordan Heumann: I'M IN MEXICO!!

Ok people it's been like two weeks, but after writing my other emails I don't have a ton of time!!! I'm sorry!!! 

It's been crazy though. I finished the MTC and headed to Mexico. The last day was great but sad, we took pictures on zoom. You'll see those. I loved my district in the MTC so much. 

Ok now for Mexico. It's so sick. The mission is really hard and I miss my family so much. It's ok though!!! I’m having a blast and the food is a bomb!!! it's seriously soooooo good. When all us new missionaries got to the airport we had like no direction lol, we eventually found where we needed to go lol. 

We are currently in a HUGE storm and our church is flooding a bit actually 😶😶. Im soaking wet. I wish Utah had a bit of this. I have pictures of the storm it doesn't do it justice. The gutters looked like fire hoses, and in most streets cars were getting almost not enough traction to move. It was crazy. 

Here in Mexico they spray you off wherever you go. We have to wear masks everywhere. They are honestly more strict than America ever was. Its great though. 

The mission is reallllly hard. I'm trying to expand my gospel knowledge and vocab so rapid its draining me. I find myself nodding off a lot. 

The churches here are so pretty. The church I have a picture of here is not in my area, this is where the mission office is, its about an hour from here. Which is Actopon its a cool tight town, our apartment is sweet though. Mexican Coke is so good, I love it so much. I had two quesidllas today. They are a tad bit different. They are like an oval shaped tortilla folded in half with a ton of meat and cheese in them. The tacos are so heavenly. I love them. 

My first day my companion lost a key to our house so we were out side for like three hours, lol. I got sunburnt. And by one key its because most houses have like three locks on a screen door then three more on their door and they all need a different key lol. It all good now. Also every mexican is a civil engineer. If there is space. There is space. I’ve been in multiple cars with too many people and too much luggage in the trunk or bed of their truck. It makes for good stories. 

Any way Mexico is so sick!!!
